So the Talk Talk web site says:
How to switch if you're with another provider
Order
You don't need to do anything, not even talk to BT.
So having made the switch i find my original provider hasnt been notified ... they will bill me for another month as a cancellation period and also charge me for leaving ... so the swicth to cheaper TalkTalk broadband is going to cost me a fortune!! .. and i havent even got anybroadband at all at the moment
Arent TT meant to deal with these things .. that is certainly what the information on the web site implies.
This is what my old ISP has said:
we require a 30 day notice period and a cease charge of £30.00 Ex VAT is applied. This is a charge levied to us by the supplier for the removal of broadband service on the line
So who is that supplier? BT? TT? Surely this would apply to everyone and should have been dealt with?
Really starting to think i have made a wrong move coming to TT........ still in my cooling off period so will have to think carefully....
