A very unhappy customer here.
Was meant to have fibre medium activated on 29th December 2015 and actually didn't have ANY service for nearly a whole month. Poor customer support throughout this period with promised call backs never actually occuring despite text confirmations that someone would be in touch.
Eventually fibre medium was activated at the end of January. Then at the beginning of the week against better judgement I decided to upgrade to fibre large...to this date it's still not been upgraded and every time I contact customer support I get told that it'll take 48 hours (including today when I was called about the complaint) even though it was meant to have been sorted more than 4 days ago!
Now to top it all off, in the past 24-48 hours my connection has been dropping repeatedly during streaming, online gaming etc. It's literally occurring every hour. Phone line is fine with no noise heard.
Could I request an update of my router firmware to 1.16t please to see if this will sort out the dropping connection?
Never had so much trouble with an internet provider...at the end of my tether with TalkTalk tbh. Literally wasted hours and hours of my time so far.
