speed

hello all i signed up to medium fibre about 7 weeks ago i was getting 36mb download speed now it has dropped to 20/22mb i was getting that on my normal adsl2 contract i have rang twice gonr through all things with wall socket still no joy. slow speed to what i was getting. i only ive 300mtrs away from bt exchange i think it is faulty router talktalk guy told me if speed still not as it was 36mb in a months time march 21st 2016 i can come out of my contract no additional fees. is there problems with hg633 router or the service i am paying a extra £10 am month for nothing as my old speed was 20/22mb snd £10 a month cheaper i live in scarborough he is some stats from router thanks si i have a NTE5A master socket fitted no crackling noise on phone line is old wire grey 2 core drop cable that comes in from outside
