I already had a complaint raised about this. it was closed when you stated that i was sold 8-30mbs speeds. At the time it was 8mbs and we have done all the checks a thousand times( test socket, wired ,etc).
3mbs is not superfast broadband. Netfix is out,gaming laggy, having teenagers is pointless on 3mbs!
The fibre is to the cabinet. the close i live in is where the problem lies. I had issues in my old house where you said the line was ok. Two years of hassling talktalk and bt to renew the line to the house solved it . I went from 1mbs and constant disconnects to 30mbs. The problem was 1970s copper wiring in the street dug up a hundred times for gas,electric,street lights etc.
dont bt have a threshold of 5mbs for superfast broadband?
The FTR for bts FTTC is 5mbs or 15mbs depending on service sold. Mine being 8mbs anything under 5mbs should the generate an investigation by bt wholesale.
