I can't bear ringing that *@#][!![]'#[@#]!* 'help'line anymore!
I moved into this property about 6 months ago, and for the first 3 months - on the occassions when the internet was working as it should - I got around 35mb/s, which is what I was told I would get.
However, for the past 3 months or so my speed has been stuck on almost exactly 20mb/s 24/7. It never goes above this speed.
I know this line is capable of faster. My housemate has a Virgin connection and gets over 100mb/s (I regret not going to Virgin...)
I pay £35 a month for fibre now, but got faster speeds when I was just paying £20 for 'standard'.
Has anyone else had the same thing happen? Do TalkTalk cheekily cap speeds until someone complains?
Thanks
