Another "Router daily reboot"

Like many posts I've seen, I have to almost daily reboot my Hy Router.

 

 

I had a similar problem the other day and I called to complain and was told that the probl;em was that MY PC was the problem as my McAfee was telling the router to stop?!

I did what they said, which was to disable my PC Mcafee, pull the supply to router and then power on and put my McAfee back on.

 

Now I DID what he said KNOWING full well that it was just really a question of just rebooting the router (I did the PC stuff just to humour him.)

 

Now everytime the the router locks up, I have to reboot it (almost daily) and it is ALWAYS after an IP address has tried/failed/tried/suceeded) to access the router by remote.

I KNOW that the ip add is TalkTalk but i'm almost SURE that the router is actually seeing the remote access as an intrusion and then it locks up.

 

So (and sorry for going on) I have disabled the remote management but not the management.

Has anyone else had this problem or am I barking up the wrong tree??
