TalkTalk Fibre Problem

I am on TT Fibre - fibre to my local street box then ADSL to my house and an Openreach intermediary box which provides the separate input for the fibre/ADSL/fibre feed to my TT router, ie it is completely independent from my landline telephone feed into the house.

 

Recently my internet signal has been going down overnight ie the Internet light on my router goes RED.

 

I have powered down and reset my TT router with no effect - it just settles on RED again.

 

But, if I power down the router AND then re-set the Openreach box by unplugging its power cable for a few seconds, re-connecting and THEN pressing the power ON button on the router) the Internet comes up fine ie steady GREEN.

 

This points to a problem with the Openreach box or the Openreach line somewhere I believe so could Openreach be contacted to investigate please?
