Very disappointed as paying for 38mb but over the last several months this has reduced to about 23mb and connection continuity is getting worse. I have done various speed checks at various times of the day but without no real difference.
I thought that it could be down to maintenance or a vast increase in users in the area and as a result I have been choked. Alternatively when maintenance has been done the engineer has accidently reduced the level to default fibreoptic basic speeds.
Please can you look into this as have tried various things inside my house to improve what speed we have. From trying renewing network cables with cat6 ones along with trying different pc's, laptops and tablets, all the same speed. Also tried switching off firewalls and antivirus etc refreshing and fixing ip addresses but with no speed benefit.
Fibre optic boxes are wired directly into seperate fibre optic socket in the master socket, checked the boxes lights for errors, resat all connectors, powered off both boxes and left for various durations 30 sec, 3min and greater.I have also checked the cables with a cat socket connector and all are fine.
As you may of guessed have a IT background and this is starting to really frustrating, please can you now look at this from your side as I have exhausted everything I can do in my house.
Note: No issues with the phone line/telephone calls.
