Fibre not activated

I have been without internet now for a week. Whilst in the process of porting to TT from Sky, my internet suddenly cut out last Wednesday, 6 days before my TT activation date. Sky blamed TT, and TT blamed Sky, but either way I was left stranded without a connection.

 

My activation date was yesterday, 26th April, which came and went. No sign of internet. I called this morning to be told Sky had not released my number but all should be active by the end of today. My hopes were briefly raised after I received an email at 10.10 saying my fibre connection was now live... but no lights showed on the router. Phoned for support to be told to wait (again) until midnight tonight, but the agent didn't know why the email had been sent out when I wasn't receiving service. The best he could offer was 'phone back tomorrow' Smiley Sad

 

Very disappointed with my first Talk Talk experience!
