Been trying to connect my desktop via Ethernet cable as it doesn't have wireless after our switch from Sky bb on Tuesday. Just have a local only connection appearing. The wireless for phones/tablets works fine but I need my desktop. The Ethernet light is flashing but no connection in network connections. It's running vista and the modem is a huawei hg633 The 2 massively unhelpful tech support people I've spoke today over the course of 4 hours just kept telling me to plug in the yellow cable which it is and tried a spare. They were absolutely useless and most unhelpful just sending me the get started email, weren't listening and refused to believe I have an issue. Along with the fact my bank details are probably in Russia by now and I still haven't received my welcome love2shop voucher I still have no internet! fuming is not the word!! Looks like sky will be getting my custom back after the shambles today!! In the meantime anyone have any ideas because Talktalk are pathetic at customer support.
