I'm on the 80/20 package I think it was and for the past year it has been 08/0.1 (yes that's right an upload speed of 0.1 somtimes it's at 0.02). I'm genuinely fed up with Talktalks phone service so I'll try for help here. I use my PC wired and have tried changing the cables many times, but that's not the problem as my phone on wi-fi has the same speeds.
I've contacted Talktalk before and had a new router (nothing), I had an engineer round once (nothing). My phone line is dead as my land line phone isnt even getting any power, there is no tone it's just dead.
My download speeds every month.
This is how bad my download speeds have been for over a year now, and yes I've used diffrent servers. It's my upload speeds that take the biscuit.
Now that is a joke. I cannot play any online games, and even when I play single player games on Steam I cannot use the internet for half an hour after I finish because Steam uploads my game save.
Can some one help please, I'm paying for fast fibre and getting upload speeds that were poor 25 years ago.
Just to add, that for a day or two every month my speeds go to about 15/3 for the other 29 days it's usually 8/0.1. Something is very wrong. Right now it's 15/3 but I know in a day or so I'll be back to the poor speeds (as if the good speeds are actually good ha).
