I've just been upgraded to fibre. I have an HG633 (note 633 not 635) and I use DD-WRT routers. The HG633 worked fine in bridge mode when I was still ADSL but now that it is VDSL it seems to be capable of running in bridged mode but I can't get my DD-WRT router to connect cleanly.
If I set the router to Automatic DHCP, which I've seen suggested on other posts, it seems to be getting its IP address from its own DHCP server, i.e. it gets an address on the LAN. If I switch it to PPPOE it wants a username and password and won't connect.
Anyone with this type of configuration working.
I'm thinking of getting a Vigor 130 as I've read that this might be a solution which will work but I'm slightly concerned that DD-WRT might have problems connecting through that as well.
