FWIW - a bit late for you guys, but if you are on Medium fibre with an HG633 or HG635 then there is a way to discover what speed you should get if you upgrade to large.

But as a general rule (and I have no idea why TT customer services don't know this), if your line runs below 40 Mbps when on medium fibre then that is the faster it will ever go - if it can't even run at 40 Mbps then there is no way it will go any faster on fibre large.

But if you can hang on and an OCE will pick up this thread.

Hi eebdsirhc,
Surely everyone on medium fibre will get less than 40 Mbps as I understood it is capped at 38Mbps (unless you are referring to the max d/l speed available as shown on the router)?
I am using an HG633 router so are you able to elaborate as to how I can check whether it's worth me upgrading to large fibre.
Thanks
