i have tried literally everything I can think of to make port forwarding work on my Huawei HG533 router. I've rang support twice now. Yesterday they tried to tell me I needed a business account so I get a static IP then I will be able to port forward. Which is a load of rubbish, cause DSL had more of a dynamic IP then fibre and I managed to forward my ports fine on DSL. I even tried enabling ddns and it still wouldn't work.
So today we rang back, and when I spoke to her, she tried to tell me that "Talk Talk don't support port forwarding" I said to her that I have seen loads of posts on here about others that can't forward ports, but she insisted that they still don't support it.
I have read through these forums and followed the guide that KeithFrench has put on here and still I can't forward ports!!!
Edit - someone from talk talk rang So i got my hopes built up that finally I would get something fixed. Then got transferred to a foreign call centre and i ended up hanging up. Because yet again, after the first guy finally transfered me too tech support, They said they dont support port forwarding.
So if anyone from talk talk reads this please help me. I am losing the plot now!!!!
