Download Speed drop

I am a Business customer. I have been running an IT support business for 18 years.

 

Tonight I noticed my broadband download speeds had dropped to 1/8th of what they should be. Upload speeds seem fine.

 

I called support and spoke to a gentleman called Ross who told me that ‘your engineers won’t touch it’ and that ‘I had to go out and buy a new router ‘. I explained that in the first place, the router was provided by yourselves, and I was certain that it was not the router.

 

I asked to speak to a manager. He said he’d go and get one. A few minutes later he came back (no manger) and said (after a lot of persuasion from me) that he’d reluctantly raise a ticket, but that I’d have to call back the next day to speak to day staff.

 

I am very disappointed with the way I have been treated.
