Bright sparks cancelled

On Tuesday my internet connection disaapeared and after 2 contacts with the call centre an engineer was booked for Monday. I have cancelled this using the automated system, because the connection reappreared on its account,  but I am wary of TT sytems because of past experienes. To avoid a potential row over charges for non-cancellation, can you confirm the appt. is cancelled?
