slow broadband speed

I have upgraded from Fibre medium to Fibre Large about 3 months ago.

My previous download speed was 22MBps on Fibre Medium. In the mean time we have eliminated all the internal wiring and have the TalkTalk super router plugged into the master socket (NTE5) which has a futher single spur going to the telephone. (No other internal wiring).

With Fibre large I am only getting a download speed consistently of  27397 which is not an improvement I expect with upgrading. However, the upload rate has improved (by nearly a 1/3rd)

We are way below the Max downstream rate (although I appreciate we may not get the actual Max).

I raised a call a couple of months ago with Tech Support...but no real answers or solutions

No obvious telephone issues/noise on the line

Here are the current router stats:

Upstream line rate (kbit/s) :         14993

Downstream line rate (kbit/s) :    27397

Maximum upstream rate (kbit/s) : 18549
Maximum downstream rate (kbit/s) : 57344
Upstream noise safety coefficient (dB) : 6.7
Downstream noise safety coefficient (dB) : 14.5
Upstream interleave depth : 0
Downstream interleave depth : 0
Line standard : VDSL
Upstream line attenuation (dB) : 32.4
Downstream line attenuation (dB) : 14.4
Upstream output power (dBm) : 5.2
Downstream output power (dBm) : 5.2

Has anyone had similar experiences.....is this all I can expect....or is there anything else I can try?
I'm dissapointed with the performance so any advice would be appreciated

Regards
Mark
