The phones are plugged into the phone socket on the master socket

no we don't use filters

yes i have tried unlpugging it from the mains for 30 secs

yes i am talking to the router over wifi, but that should not make a difference to its VDSL2 train speed

yes i have tried taking the front off the master socket and using a filter in the test socket

we were estimated a 20 - 36 meg download speed

we were getting nearly 20 meg see https://community.talktalk.co.uk/t5/Superpowered-Fibre-Broadband/Downstream-interleave-depth-of-5/m-p/1795251
