Hi there, ever since going over to TalkTalk's Large Fibre about 5 weeks ago we've had nothing but inconsistant Speeds. After many hours invested in ourselves to sort the problem have now got down to the fact that something happens to the Router to make this occur. Before this thing occurs we get around 15ms Ping, 45MB DL and 11MB UL. Now after the Router does what ever it is doing we go from those speeds to still a 15ms Ping, still a 11MB UL but a mere 2MB DL. Yet simply restart the Router and it goes back to normal without a Hic-Up till this thing happens again. Have attached a photo below of what it is thats happening to makes this occur. And after over an hour long arguement with TalkTalk on Saturday and 3 diffenrent Members of Staff the 3rd being a Faults Manager he decided along with me that it was a Router Fault and sent us a new one. Well it came today, fired it all up, brilliant. Yet after around 2 hours exact same thing happened like normal and back down to 2MB DL. Have since restarted the Router before writing this so back up to 46MB DL, just sat waiting for the next drop out which no doubt will be before the nights out.
