Fibre then no fibre

We moved into a new build property on 18th July and had an installation for Fibre booked for 19th July. Initially the Openreach engineer told us that no fibre was not available at the local cabinet so we were connected to ADSL. Then after a couple of days everything goes off (no phone or broadband). We raised a fault and a couple of days later Openreach visit again and this time connect to up to Fibre. All fine until last week TT Order Management started to call saying they were going to downgrade us to ADSL as we couldn't have Fibre (explaining that we were on Fibre and happy didn't make any difference)!!

We were told that the downgrade could not be stopped, would happen on 8th August and as soon as it happened we could be upgraded back to Fibre again. Common sense it appeared was not an option. So yesterday our speed drops right down to 4-5mbps and I contact TT to request they switch us back onto Fibre only to be told that Fibre is not available in our area! Then that Fibre was available but there is no capacity. Surely as were were on it as recently as yesterday they could reinstate us but it appears not. All they have done is to escalate the case to Order Management (they same dept that caused the problem in the first place).

What I'm wondering is if it's worth persisting with TT and if there is any scope to get our Fibre connection back or would we be better switching to another service provider assuming they would have more capacity for Fibre and some customer service?
