Fibre 38MB - Connection and Device Issues!

Hi there, I have fibre 38mb and have the std TalkTalk router Huawei HG633.  I have an Apple TV upstairs, an Xbox one and several iPads.

 

We have Now tv running through the Apple tv and my son goes online through his Xbox one.  I want to know what it is I should be able to do with the BB I am paying for because if my son is online on his Xbox, we cannot watch Now TV shows, or vice versa, it seems that we are extremely limited in what we can do!

 

I have done quite a bit of research and technically we should be able to play Xbox online, and stream an HD movie and we should not have a problem with that, but we just can't do it, one or teh other just constantly drops.

 

I have run speed tests on the line and it is telling me that the speed is correct for the broadband I am paying for, but it does not translate to the service i should be getting inside the house!

 

Is the router faulty, is there some other setting that should be set and has not been done so!  To be honest, I really do not want to phone support again, I spent the better part of 6 weeks trying to resolve a line issue when we first signed up and I really do not want to get stuck in that never ending loop of line testing that delivers no solutions.

 

I just want to know what i should be able to do with 38MB fibre BB, can i watch youtube videos over wifi on 3 iPads while watching an HD movie through Now tv and my son is gaming online on his Xbox?  or is that asking too much, because i seem to remember being able to do a helluva lot with my std BT internet service that I gave up for TalkTalk!!!

 

Appreciate any comments, suggestions and or solutions!
