I have been using my TPLink Archer VR600 AC1600 modem/router on PlusNet and
when I got switched over to TalkTalk fibre I went through the quick setup to connect
to broadband.
I found that it was only after de-selectiing the 'bit swap' box on the 'advanced'
'Dsl settings' page that I get connected to the internet.
I say 'connected' because I can browse websites ok, but when I go to the 'Basic' tab
which shows a status summary there is a red 'X' showing next to 'Internet' and at
the bottom of the screen it shows 'Internet Status: Disconnected' and below
that is "Please configure your DNS Manually"
This modem/router is listed for sale as
TP-LINK Archer VR600 AC1600 Mbps Wireless Dual Band VDSL/ADSL2 Gigabit Modem Router for Phone Line Connections (Compatible with YouView IPTV/BT Infinity/TalkTalk/EE/Plusnet Fibre)
Please can someone tell me, do I just have to continue using it with the
'disconnected' message or is there something which is not configured correctly
and is going to cause an issue in future
