Upgraded from Fibre Medium to Fibre large, now speed is worse than before

I upgraded from Fibre medium to Fibre large on 23 August, my download speed up to then had been around 27-29 mbps with an upload of around 1.7-2.1 mbps.

This stayed around this figure for the first few days then the upload speed went up to around 10mbps.

Two weeks later the download dropped to around 20mbps, and has now settled to around 18mbps the upload is steady at around 10mbps.

The email from TT stated:

You have ordered:
Fibre Large
Guaranteed minimum speed : 20 Mb
Download speed : 27.26 Mb - 49.95 Mb
Upload speed : 15.79 Mb - 6.85 Mb
Usage allowance per month : Unlimited

So now I am paying £5 a month more for less!

I have had two online chats with TT who first said there was "cleaning going on at the exchange and to wait 24hrs".

The second chat went through all the checks disregarding the upgrade information, but we got cut off at the connect to the test socket section. However nothing improved anyway.

I am totally fed up with this and will be changing provider if it is not sorted soon.

I have not changed anything else, and the router is plugged into the main (only) socket.

Any ideas would be welcome, thanks.
