Help - slow and very slow fibre broadband

Hi All

 

Help, getting very frustrated. first phone call around 7 October..

 

Upgraded to TT fibre broadband in Aug with TV package.  All ok first month.  Since beginning of Oct speeds vary from 25mbps down to 0.8mbps,  These have been sent to TT,  had an argument with tt engineer who said that this is acceptable? 0.8mbps acceptable for fibre....I wish I'd recorded the call...

 

have already cancelled Tv as could not watch

 

Engineer from Brightsparks came out on 14 Oct, and said problem with 'battery pack at exchange'??  and that open reach would ring to make an appointment.to fix (didnt do).  Several phone calls to TT and still nothing done.

 

Doing speed tests with Ookla - using supportal-test, using wired computer -  speeds vary from 25mbps to 4-5 mbps or timing out, ie 0.2, 02, 0.4 etc then after 20 seconds time out, graphs are up and down or not given as timed out.. that is how slow it is...that is all times of day not just day or evening

 

Using ie 11, but is happening to both wired computers.

 

What next...
