fibre medium - 3mbps download speed.

Hello, I've ordered a medium fibre package from TalkTalk to speed up the internet on the 6th of September, and I received an e-mail on the 15th confirming my live date which was the 6th of October. I received the new router a few days before the live date, and made sure that I didn't set the router up before the live date. So on the 6th, I set up the new router where my old router was before, and it was working fine so I wanted to check the download speeds, and result was around 3mbps(this was worse than my standard broadband) - so then I thought, I’d wait a few days for the speeds to go up, and then maybe on the 8th, I checked my order on the TalkTalk website through my account and it said that an engineer was supposed to come to my house on the 11th, and after that it said that my broadband would go live by midnight on the 11th. So I stayed at home on the 11th and no one came. During the waiting time, the internet stopped working completely for about 4 hours, so I decided to move to a different room(connecting it to a different socket) and it came back up again. So I contacted TalkTalk through your live chat, and I spent about 2 hours talking to the professionals to see why I was getting such horrible speeds, and they checked it remotely and told me that they didn't find any issues. After that they kept telling me to swap out the wires for alternative ones, they told me to swap my router for my old one, and swap out the micro-filters - but nothing was wrong with them, because they were working completely fine - I didn't move anything, everything stayed in the same place the whole time, it just randomly stopped working. I've contacted talktalk atleast 4 times now, and the response i get is always the same - they check the speeds, tell me there's no issue, and nothing gets resolved. It is now the 29th, the internet speeds are getting worse and worse, I upgraded to play multipayer games online, but sometimes I’m not even able to watch any videos, it takes about 10 seconds just load up a page on google, and the slow internet speeds are affecting my work at home. I was promised download speeds of up to 40mbps, and 27mbps as a minimum. I am very disappointed with the service that I have been getting from TalkTalk. I have been waiting to receive faster internet for quite a while now and I’ve been trying to be patient - but I’m not seeing any good results. I am very unhappy with the services I’ve been getting and I've been really considering of switching broadbands to Plusnet - their customers seem very happy with the services and they get up to 70mbps download speeds for the same price.
