I am experiencing Broadband speed issues which have occurred ever since I took delivery of a Super Router back in September.
With my old separate Openreach modem and router, I was consistently receiving around 20mb broadband. The 'Super' router is currently maxing out at 7mb but sometimes goes as low as 2mb.
Despite numerous calls, several engineer visits and escalations to Open Reach etc, no one has actually tried sending me a replacement router and I'm pretty sure that is where the fault lies. Surely it shouldn't be this difficult just to get a replacement router sent through? I noticed from some of the other community posts that they have been sent a new router along with a returns envelope. I've asked for this same service from the call center repeatedly but been told they can't send me out a new router - it has to come via an engineer visit!
To prove a point, I've just got my old modem and router out of the loft and low and behold, it's now giving me just shy of 20mb again.
Please, please, please could someone at Talk Talk just try sending through a replacement router. Is that really too much to ask?
