Hi guys,
So on the 2nd Dec I started getting a solid ref light on my fibre router. I have a solid green broadband light and no connection to the internet.
Im having no joy with telephone support and I finally got a text message on 6th Dec saying everything should be fixed as the engineers have been to the exchange.
I still had had the red light so called again.
They em have replaced the router saying it was that which it wasn't.
They are now saying I'm not getting an IP address to my router and they don't know why.
I have looked in mu in my router settings and DHCP is not connecting.
They now want the MAC address of my router so try and directly force an up address to it.
Is is this going to work or are they just wasting g my time ?
beern sat here now for 55 mins listening to the TalkTalk music just trying to give someone this dam MAC address and it's starting to wear thin now after no answers for the last 12 days.
