HG633 router doesn't assign IP or doesn't allow internet access

Hi, I hope someone might be able to help me with this issue with connecting via this router...

I'll try to give as much detail as possible but I'm not sure if this is one problem or layers of problems - however I have run out of my own ability to diagnose/fix now!

Problems started before Xmas when I was getting extremely slow broadband & dropouts (could not watch iPlayer without it pausing every few mins..). After various tests of the line & even an engineer visit it seems the line into the house is fine. Talk talk sent me a new router (HG633) to try on Xmas eve & I got it all connected, initially everything seemed fine: I had the odd internet drop out but with Xmas I wasn't watching too closely at at least iPlayer & Netflix seemed fine!

However, earlier this week I started getting problems with several devices.

First, TV, wired connection via a powerline, wouldn't get an IP address. The router seemed to be showing intrustion alerts. A wireless connection worked fine. I tried setting a static IP but no difference. However a reset of the powerline seemed to sort this one out.

Second, my laptop started showing 'Connected, no internet'. I flushed DNS, cleared out device management & set a static IP address. This seems to have sorted this one out.

Now, my android phone started showing 'Failed to obtain IP address'. I set a static IP, now it shows connected but there is no internet...

Router is on version 1.21 of the software. Laptop is on Win 10. Phone is on Android 6.0.1.

Two other Win 10 laptops seem fine so far. Another android phone & an android tablet also seem fine at the moment. However, I'm worried they're going to start having issues...

In the house, as well as the powerline I've got 3 chromecasts and a network extender, which is on the same SSID as the router. So potentially I'm guessing I've got in-house interference between all these networks but I'm not sure whether that would affect the IP setting on the router or not?

Any help/suggestions appreciated...

Thanks.
