I have a new HG633 Router on Fibre replacing a DSL-2780 and although everything can get internet, I cannot get my Home Network to function correctly and can't get things I did before, HELP please.
My main desktop pc was a Win7 Pro 6bit, now running Win 10 and I have a previous XP desktop that I need access to at times, both on Ethernet ports. Using old DSL router I could see the XP from the Win 10, but with both on new HG633, the Win 10 does not see the XP (not used access the other way).
I have ceased the Home network on Win 10 and set up again without any difference.
Connecting both PC to the old DSL router, without internet, gives me the access as before.
Can't see any setting in the HG633 that may be causing this issue. I also have a similar problem connection to another older item that is ok via the previous DSL router.
Any suggestions please as to why my Home Network does not work fully? I have a HP Printer connected via Ethernet and this is seen by both pcs.
I can PING both pc's from each other ok, but can't ping the other item that will not work, so it seems that the router is someway blocking access that wa there before.
