So I have waited and waited for ages to get Fibre broadband and just before Christmas my dreams came true on my home was enabled for fibre broadband, according to the open reach website. With this I quickly jumped onto the talk talk Account page and try to upgrade to fibre broadband only to be told the fibre was not available in my area.
I've checked with the likes of BT and sky and other resellers like talk talk and when I put my details in on their sites they can clearly offer me the fibre broadband that I desperately want and at the fibre speed that is quoted of approx 60Mbps. I have tried several times to speak with talk talk only to be told the same message that is displayed on their website, all I am looking for is a date as to when talk talk will catch up with the rest of the UK in my area. Does anybody know who I can contact to try and find out this information? Currently if I cancel my talk talk contract, which I don't particularly want to do, it will cost me in excess of £200 to terminate.
Can anyone help?
