My FIL has been with AOL for years, which got swept up by TalkTalk. He has always had 'poor' Broadband and finally got round to getting a TalkTalk Router as a means to solve the Broadband problems.
The new Router seemed to make no improvement other than connectivity range. On further investigation, the phoneline has a BT DACS 2 box fitted.
The download speed is comparable to that of Dial-Up of old, which upon reading around is directly attributable to the DACS box.
Who do we need to contact at TalkTalk to have the DACS box removed, and the Broadband service that FIL has been paying for for years correctly installed?
