We've got the fibre large package with the HG633 router. Everything has been working fine (no previous issues since installtion few months ago), but today we have lost our internet connection. The broadband and internet lights are both off.
I have done several reboots, even for over 30 minutes, and a factory reset. Nothing has worked.
The router log shows the date change from todays date (25.09.15) to 01.01.10. Two of the last entries before the date change are:
- DSL connection is inactive
- WAN connection INTERNET_TR069_R_VID_101:IPv4 disconnected. (ERROR_NO_CARRIER)
not sure if these log entries are linked. I have no other router available to try. Is it a router issue or a line problem? On talktalk service check it states exchange (1.1 miles away) is ok, but states the router is not detected (is plugged in and turned on).
Can anyone help? Do I need a new router?
