Paying for Fibre Large Getting Fibre Medium

Hi,

Just moved home yesterday and paid for Fibre Large as Talk Talk said I would get it o.k around 76Mb.

My mum stays next door to me now and I had 80Mb with Talk Talk 2 years ago. Yet I move in next door to her property and my downstream is locked to 42mb? (i.e medium fibre)

Have tried calling talk talk, as of no use as always...not fully understanding what is going on, said they'd call me back today between 8am - 10am...no phone call.

Then around 11, my phone rings from 0800 number Talk Talk, they hang up when i answer and say "hello".

House phone goes, 2 rings I pick up..."hello"...they hang up again.

Spent the good part of 40 minutes on phone the now there, to no conclusion other than the guy saying I need to pay £65 charge for an engineer to visit.

Not happening!!!!

I moved home, Talk Talk assumed everything would be o.k for my services which IT IS NOT!

Why have i to pay for an engineer to fix a problem that isn't even my own fault?

I just signed up to renew my package and included an upgrade from Fibre Medium to Fibre Large and my home IS ABLE to receive these speeds for Fibre Large.

So why am i getting fibre medium speeds and why is my downstream locked to fibre medium speeds via the router config page?

Fed up calling and getting nowhere, it's a pain in the bum!

Not a happy customer what-so-ever.

So much for technical team phoning me back, they said 6 days case would be open for...6 days does not resolve my current issues with being locked to medium speeds when i should be receiving fibre Large!!!!!.

Please someone help me!
