For best part of 2 years we have been frustrated that our Sky box showed we were connected to broadband via wifi but Sky on Demand would show as Fail. We can temporarily get it working by rebooting sky box but after downloading between 1 and 2 shows it shows back as Fail.
We always believed it was a faulty box but as it was out of warranty we didn't look in to the problem. I have recently searched and find that many many people have had this issue and its with their ISPs rather than Sky, with most resolving by some sort of rolling back of software or a new router.
My router is HG635
Hardware version: G.1.01
Software version: v1.06t
I did chat with someone from Talktalk in India but that was a poor experience and I got no where.
