Having just tried TT customer support, I'm reverting to Forums and the like. Need some assistance re Port Forwarding.
Here's my challenge:-
- Ditched the TT router in favour of a Netgear Nighthawk R7000 earlier this year
- CCTV, NAS drive, Xbox etc all needing Port Forwarding (all setup as per the relevant ports suggested to be opened)
- Oddly, I can reach my CCTV (port 5001), yet cannot reach my NAS directly (port 6300) or via an NAS_Utils App (port 443). Both are closed when I try ShieldsUp. Infact, all of my ports seem closed other than 5001!
Any ideas?
I'm reasonably technical (or so I like to think) but am by no means an expert in the Router space.
Wondered whether anyone could offer some festive technical insight into some stuff I should be checking in order to fix this once and for all?
