High and fluctuating ping while using games.

While playing games such as Counter Strike : Global Offensive and League of Legends the latency is very high and quickly changes from high to moderately high numbers around 200 - 1000.

The result of this is shown below on a ping test I conducted.



I have already talked to the customer service at TalkTalk and they advised me to change chanels on the router, this unfortunately had a the opposite effect to what was intended, I have now reset the router and turned it on and off many times without any change.

Please help me solve this incredibly irritating problem,
