I've had 2 talktalk routers now, neither of which will connect to fibre broadband. I have an old Sky router which work fine so I am using that. However I have talktalk TV and apparantly cannot access additonal services without the talktalk router.
I've been through 2 tech support calls, nobody seems to have any idea what they are talking about. They took a good hour or so each and I got nowhere. I've only been connected since 24th Sept and I'm seriously unimpressed with the support.
I will not pay for an engineer as I feel I am being conned into it and simply cannot afford it. Especially given that my alternative brand router works perfectly.
Has anyone else experienced this problem and how have you resolved it?.
Quick run down: switch on the router and all the lights go through a series of flashes. power switch stays on, broadband light just flashes intermitantly. I get no further. Tech support don't have a clue what to do, but I'm struggling to have patience as I cannot understand how another brand product works just fine and talktalks does not. It makes me wonder if theres a simple setting somewhere that needs changing and they're trying to charge me £65 for the privalege of someone to change it.
