recent fibre upgrade

Hi, Could anyone within the TalkTalk inner sanctum possibly ease my worries..??

 

Having sold my soul to the Devil & signed up to fibre broadband, I have just these few days gone live... Now considering my speeds I was regularly getting were between 7.5 and 8.5MB, the speeds I'm now seeing are not much greater?

 

I was unable to use the my account speed checker (said something about not being currently available for my area), so used Ookla direct. That came back with speeds of between 9.5 and 10MB..?!?

I realise there is a 10 to 14 day period whereby the speeds will fluctuate, but surely there should be some noticable increase from the start?

 

My worry is, if after the said initial period, if I do not see any substanial speed increase, where whould I stand about cancelling the contract & reverting to my regular broadband service..??

 

I'd be looking to get at least 24MB, before I'd consider the future £10 a month increase to be of any value...
