Where to start!

Before moving in to our new house the internet was top of the list to get provisioned! Because fibre was in high demand in the area I was only able to get the Simply broadband package. It was installed beginning of December 2015 and never really worked, either the DSL wouldn't sync at all or when it did download speeds would be no better than a babies crawl and then the connection would drop and the DSL would try to sync again, failing.

It wasn't too much of an issue at this point as I was still living in my previous property whilst renovating, enjoying 150Mbs internet services from Virgin (oh how I miss you! Smiley Sad

I kept checking if fibre was available and was lucky one evening to see orders were being accepted again so I jumped on the phone and put an order in to upgrade from the not working ADSL package to the FTTC VDSL large package… now excited for my go live date of the 12th of January (remember that internet still isn’t working at this point) the day arrived, I installed the new H633 router and waited patiently for the line to SYNC with the DSL kit at the end of the street, nothing and to this day still. Nothing.

The router reports that there is ‘no signal’ on the line.

So, long story short.. I’ve been with Talk talk for over a month now. Have been charged for installation fees and services charges as normal but yet to receive the services I’m paying for. I do have an incident logged INC000012985312 but after chatting to someone on the live chat I didn’t feel much hope as they mentioned ‘ah yes, I can see there’s an issue logged regarding a username and password’.
