We have been with TalkTalk for a number of years and had fibre broadband installed on 13th January.
The internet connection is great and very fast, but we are having a few problems with the WiFi funtionality on the router. It works OK most of the time, but occasionally it will refuse to load a webpage that we know is working (e.g. BBC, eBay, HSBC) and just gives a blank page. Clicking refresh usually solves the problem and the page loads.
We have also had the WiFi connection freeze (suddenly no data is transmitted) but the internet connection stays live. I have noticed that the WiFi error rates are very high in the router statistics, but don't know if this is relevant to the issues we are having or not. These problems are being repeated across all devices we have (MacBook, iPhone).
Looking elsewhere on the forum it seems that other people are having similar issues and that there is a new version of the firmware available.
Could this new firmware please be installed on our router to see if it solves any of these problems?
