go live date is 7 days after cancel date from current provider will i have no internet for that time

i have been given a go live date of 3rd feb.  but sky have given me a cancellation of service date of 27th jan. when i purchased my package with talk talk the estimated go live date was 28th jan. my question is will i have no internet and phone from the 27th jan to the 3rd feb ??? panicing as i need internet as i am studying for university degree.
