Unable to test speed on Home superfast fibre

I have superfast broadband and it was excellent when first started.

50+ mgb download and 8 mgb upload.

Now when I check with other speed checkers its down to 30+mgb download and less than 2 mgb upload.

I upgraded to get the higher upload but now it all seems a waste of money.

I have tried testing it with talktalk and it comes up with the message 

unable to check your speed at this location please try from home.

 

Guess what I am at home.

I have just rebooted the router to see if that helps but no change.

 

Any help much appreciated

 

I have just tried rebooting again and the download speed is now 40+ mgb and the upload speed as now increased to 15 mgb

Much better.

Still not happy with the download speed and my inability to check using talktalk speedchecker.

 

Whilst checking my speed I have discovered it now says my service is provided by Tiscali uk ltd.

When did that come about and why have I not been informed that I am not with talktalk servers which use to show on this same check. ?

 

This is likely to be the reason talktalk speedchecker will not test it.

What is going on !!!
