Internet cutting out every 30seconds to 10mins

Hello there, 

My internet keeps cutting out every 30seconds to 10mins for the past 20 hours nonestop making it unusable! I have called in to the call centre and the chap down the other end after running some tests including having me plug the router in to the test line told me l had to pay £65 for an engineer, which l find ridiculous! I am paying for a service which has stopped working so now l must pay to have it fixed so l get what l paying for even though it is not my fault it has stopped working??? :/ 

Anyway I have even turned it off for 30mins and still didnt help, running it on the test line seems to have slightly improved the problem but still cant stay connected any long than 10mins at a time. I am a broadband only customer but l have put the landline phone number attatched to the account on my community profile amd full name should you need it. 

Any help would be great!
