i moved from Sky broadband to talk talk broadband recently, broadband went ahead i didnt mind waiting ect for it to be transfered over and lines to be activated.
then once all my line and broadband package went live, i noticed buffering when using more than one device, so i did a Speedtest and results came back between 4-7mbs down and 0.5 - 0.7mbs up With the same package on sky i was getting 13mbs, i rang the tech guys they told me BT decided how fast my line can go, and that 7 is the most my line can handle they Kept on about if i wanted Faster Broadband i should get fibre only way to speed up line.
So i rang to order fibre over the phone got through to a nice enough guy very helpful ect i asked him what day would my fibre be activated and he told me the 28th of Jan now within 3 or 4 hours i recieved a Email saying the 10th of Feb, so i rang them again and explained, they told me to ignore the email and its the 28th of jan, i then recieved a letter tell me go live date 10th of feb so i rang them again to ask if it was a fault the automated service, then they told me they have no records of 28th of january and my go live date is 10th of Feb
is been with talk talk for less than 1 month and im starting to get really annoyed with them already.
Wish i had stayed with my previous provider.
