Hi,
I signed up for your Fibre Medium offer (free for 12 months then £10 per month on an 18 month contract plus line rental and a £60 voucher etc). My service was connected yesterday (24th Jan although my go live date was the 19th). When I signed up I didn't see any indication that the upload speed was capped at 2MB (but have since learned this from reading other comments) and that is a problem for me. I've just phoned your contact centre asking about switching to Fibre Large and after some confusion and being transferred several times I was told I can't do anything for 3 months due to 'irregular payments' whatever that is? I'm a new customer and my first payment hasn't even been taken yet.
All I would like to know is what is involved in switching to Fibre Large? How much extra will it cost and how will it affect the offer package that I have purchased? I believe I am still im my grace period so would like this addressed sooner rather than later in case I need to cancel.
I would also like to ask if it's possible to sample the fibre large service for a limited period to check what speeds I would get before committing to a full contract? I have used the BT line speed test facility but have found this to sometimes underestimate line speeds in the past. Thanks
