Open reach are bringing fibre optic up the road where I live, they are going to be doing fibre to the cabinet. We should be about 40 yards from the the cabinet according to an Openreach guy I spoke to.
Will I be able to stay on the package I am on, would I need to go for a fibre optic package? The extra speed doesn't really interest me happy with the speed I have, but would having fibre optic cables in the road do anything for the speed I currently get?
