Fibre Broadband Activation

We've recently moved house and decided to go with TalkTalk for fibre broadband. We were given an activation date of 10th February. The phone line came on that day but not the broadband. I reported this on the 11th February and escalated it as a complaint.

At first I was told they'd have to send an engineer out but first date was 22nd February which is a ridiculous length of time to be without broadband. I was then told that my line was synchronising with the exchange but not connecting to the TalkTalk server.

It was passed to the network team to investigate and I was promised a call back between 10:00 and 12:00 on the 12th February. Nobody called me back.

When I try to ring TalkTalk now I get a message saying wait 72 hours before calling!

Not a great start by TalkTalk.

As an aside, I have a Leeds postcode but actually live in a 01943 dialling code area. However, the phone number we've been given is a 0113 one which seemed peculiar. Not sure if that is anything to do with the issue.

Any help to sort this out would be appreciated.
