Internet Down

I'm not sure sure if I'm posting this in the right place, but my Internet has been down since about 6pm yesterday. 

I noticed most of the lights on my router were off, only the power light and the wireless light were still on. I unplugged the router for a few mins but that didn't fix it. 

 

So I got in touch with live chat last night, I was talking with them for over an hour. They had me unplugging the router, checking the master socket etc. Nothing helped, so I was told they had ordered me a free WiFi hub. 

I didn't receive any confirmation so I started another live chat today just to confirm it had been ordered. Again I've been chatting with them for over an hour, spoken to four different people, only to be told no WiFi hub had been ordered. Not only that, but two of them made it sound like I had made the whole thing up just to get a new router! 

 

I'm just hoping I can get some help here. Admittedly I'm pretty useless with tech, so I don't even know if the router is the issue. But everyone at TalkTalk seems to know about as much as I do!
