Hi, hopefully someone can help.
We started noticing that our download speed and ping had become worse over the past month or so, have called Talktalk who advised us to connect to the Master test socket and that they would get in contact with us within 48hours. It has now been 6 days and still no contact.
After connecting to the master test socket the fibre internet reset once in the early morning which lowered the downstream interleave from 2188 to 1429 and increased the upstream interleave from 1 to something in the hundreds but also lowered the downstream line rate from 17999 to 16495.
It has again reset the internet a couple of days ago and now the upstream interleave is back to 1 but the downstream is stil at 1429 along with a downstream rate of 16495.
We used to have a totally stable downstream of around 30000 (although the maximum line rate says it could be 41704... but increased interleave shaves alot of the speed down and increases ping rate.. We are a gaming household and require a low ping rate along with decent download speeds.) I have run several speedchecks using the talktalk speed check tool and linked it to my account landline number as it requests.
We could really do with getting the download speed increased and interleave turned off if possible.
I have just reset the router about 30mins ago as the wifi was having lots of errors, so I disabled the 5G and reset the router.
Thanks
Dan
P.S I have included a screen cap of the router system and broadband information as off over 30mins ago (after the reset.)
