Why is it so difficult to get a straight answer out of TalkTalk.
Online checker says Fibre not available in my area and Openreach says fibre is available in my area but cannot tell me if it is available to my house. However on the link below, it says fibre was installed at my exchange Brookhall, Derry/Londonderry in Q1, 2014. Virgin have fibre to my house and BT also offer fibre in the area so, why not TalkTlak. I have been told for over 5 years now that TalkTlak would provide faster speeds, but why can you tell me WHEN.

Please give me a clear straight answer.

I’m sorry it’s taking us longer than usual to get back to you - we like to be much quicker than this. I can confirm, that Super Powered Fibre Optic services is not available in your area and once Super Powered Fibre Optic services is available in your area we will contact you. Can you please confirm if your new provider is taking over your TalkTalk line and if so when the line migrates over to your new provider we will close your account? If not and you are getting a new line installed, you will need to tell us nearer the time the date you wish us to disconnect your line. Hi there, I’ve been waiting a very long time now for TalkTalk to put in fibre availability in my estate. Why is it taking so long? I would really like to sign up for a fibre broadband service and Virgin already have a fibre running outside my house.
